Paleo Diet Plan Teaches You How To Enjoy The Foods You Love

Do you want to lose weight, but aren't ready to give up all the wholesome foods you love? Well guess what, you don't have to. With the Paleo Diet plan there are all kinds of good foods and recipes you can make while losing weight at the same time. You don't have to count calories, you don't have to watch your portion sizes and you don't have to give up eating filling, comforting foods.

Still Eat The Foods You Love

So how... is what you may be wondering. Well on the Paleo Diet plan you learn that with a couple small adjustments you can please your appetite and achieve your weight loss goals.

For example instead of making mashed potatoes as a side dish for your main course you can make mash cauliflower instead. Mashed cauliflower is just as filling, just as creamy and just as yummy as mashed potatoes just without the carbs.

Mashed Cauliflower

Here's What You Need:

- Cauliflower of course ( 1 head is plenty)
- 3 garlic peeled cloves
- About 1/2 cup of broth (chicken or beef broth will work perfect)
- Ginger powder
- Sea salt
- Black or white pepper
- 2 table spoons of olive oil

Here's What To Do:

- Chop the cauliflower, the smaller you chop it the faster it will steam
- Put the cauliflower, cloves and chicken or beef broth in a pot over medium heat and cover
- Once the cauliflower is soft put it in a food processor or blender. Process it until has a mash potato texture. You may have to do this in 2 batches.
- After the cauliflower is nice and smooth, season it to taste with olive oil, ginger powder, sea salt and pepper.

That's it. This a perfect side dish to just about any Paleo Diet plan meal including fish, poultry or meat dishes.

The Benefits of Cauliflower

Not only is mashed cauliflower a great alternative to the carb-filled mash potatoes, like all Paleo Diet plan foods, it has a ton of health benefits including the following:

1. Cauliflower is high in Manganese and Vitamin C which are both antioxidants and reduces the risk of heart disease and even cancer.
2. High in B Vitamins including B1-B6 and B9.
3. Cauliflower is also a great anti-Inflammatory helping to fight against obesity and inflammatory bowel disease
4. It's good for heart health, decreasing the risk of heart disease and heart attacks.
5. It also helps with digestion, decreasing the risk of stomach ulcers and cancer

Until next time, eat well.
