WHAT IS THE PALEO DIET
The concept of the diet consists of stripping your diet completely down to the types and quantities of food our hunter-gatherer ancestors ate; basically everything that Mother Nature intended us to live on. The foundation of The Paleo Diet is lean meat, seafood, and unlimited consumption of fresh fruits and vegetables, which are all high in beneficial nutrients. By cutting out processed foods such as refined sugars and grains, saturated and trans fats, salt and high-glycemic carbohydrates you will eliminate the factors of weight gain, diabetes and numerous other health problems.

The Paleo Diet has many similar aspects to the Raw Food Diet as they both highly promote the increase of fruit and vegetables in the diet. Eating your fruit and vegetables raw are a powerful way to lose weight. Not only are they rich fibre but they also have a high water content keeping you hydrated and fuller for longer! Raw foods are also rich in food enzymes, which are vital to the body function of metabolizing food. The reason you feel lethargic is because when you eat processed, cooked foods, your body is using all of your energy trying to breakdown the food for digestion.
